From the depths of the modern American folk movement hails the vast musical journey known as the Herbert Bail Orchestra. Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Anthony Frattolillo leads an ensemble with accordion, keys, strings, horns, harmonies and more. "A fusion of past and present, frontier and adventure, psyche and soul. The Herbert Bail Orchestra's first album was released in early 2013,The Future's in the Past is "a collection of gypsy folk that carves out myths of its own," said Kevin Bronson of BuzzbandsLA. "Herbert Bail leaves you amazed!" said MySpoonful. The debut album received a 9 out of 10 from Violent Success. Traversing from the cryptic shadows of Holy Smokes to the Western infused ballads portrayed in songs like The Nature of Things .

In 2015 the band collaborated with award winning director Björn Rühmann to create a two-part music video inspired by songs from the debut album. Part 1 The Nature of Things, was exclusively released on Nowness, received a Vimeo Staff Pick, was named ‘Six of the Best Creative Music Videos' by 1.4 and won Best Music Video at the Ciclope Short Film Festival.

You can catch the Herbert Bail Orchestra performing regularly in and around different parts of California and the Southwest. As well as working on a collection of new songs for release sometime in 2017.
